Thanks to African Queen Adventures and Khalid Mrutu (our tour guide) for an amazing safari experience in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater! From our initial arrival in Arusha to our departure in Zanzibar, Alice did not disappoint. Everything for our group was well organized and our lodging accommodations (5 stars plus) exceeded our expectations in every place that we stayed (Melia and Wellsworth hotels). Khalid was the best tour guide: he was patient, humble and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and animals. He spotted things that we never imagined we would see!! He also ensured that we did not leave our Safari experience without seeing the Big Five and we got great photo ops! My children were so excited. It goes without saying that our 10 day trip in Tanzania was by far one of the best trips imaginable, attributable to Alice and her amazing staff and team. Khalid is also a mechanic, so don't worry, you will literally be taken care of!! He takes care of his Land Cruiser! Also, Alice booked amazing spice tours and blue safari experiences in Zanzibar with Sharon and Mohammed. Tanzania is such a beautiful country with extraordinary culture, landscape and people! Overall 10/10 for my experience with African Queen Adventures. Alice curated a trip of a lifetime for our group. From start to finish everything was seamless. Ben was an incredible guide and if you're going to do a safari tour…he's THE guy you need!! He was so knowledgeable, patient, kind and had 30/20 vision (still don't know how he spotted some of those animals during our safari). He taught us about animals, landscape, agriculture, culture and the list goes on!! He truly made our safari unforgettable! Thank you Ben!

We are a big family group of 17. Landed in Kilimanjaro Airport, fetched by Ashlay with a mini bus. Went short city tour around Arusha upon arrival and started our safari tour the next day in this sequence: Arusha National Park - Moivaro Coffee Lodge Tarangire National Park - Moivaro Coffee Lodge Serengeti National Park - Serengeti Sirena Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge day trip Hadzabe Village day trip Masai Village We departed for Zanzibar thru Arusha Airport The Safari Landcruisers were very, very comfortable except for the rear-most 2 seats which can get quite bumpy thru the African bush. No working AC in the cars...so plan your trip schedule (go during cooler season) and wardrobe accordingly because of the dust. The guides were very knowledgeable, Ashlay, Rogers and Edward who were very engaging and patiently answered our queries. Highly recommended to engage with African Queen Adventures.

I had a very lovely experienced during my vacation at Tanzania. We had tour to Tarangire, Ngorongoro National park and Arusha city. I really recommend Tanzania and African Queen Adventure as your local Tour Company.

Excellent travel plan for all our Tanzania itinerary both the Serengeti and other parks safari and the Zanzibar hotel booking plus all transfers. The sales agent Amani was very flexible and made all adjustment in full compliance to our wishes. And for the safari the very experienced driver Ashley is highly recommended. As fully trained park ranger with a lot of knowledge about the nature and wild animals, speaking Masai language and knowing their culture, Ashley added to our safari the little extra, that made it unforgettable. His friendly and helpful way made us come as customers and leave as friends. Very recommended!

We had an amazing tour of beautiful Tanzania and Zanzibar - all perfectly organised by African Queen Adventures' lovely and caring team! The team had everything set up for our great 10-days stay - accommodations, safari itinerary, guided cultural tours, airport transfers, visit to the local market. All requests we had were met and the trip exceeded my expectations!! The entire team was super friendly, entertaining and helpful at all times. Excellent quality tour/safari operator that is efficient and made me feel like family. From start to finish the team at African Adventures was on it. No request was too big for them and they made everything happen. We started in Arusha and went to Tarangire, Ngongoro, then to the Serengeti back to Arusha and then to Zanzibar. It was wonderful. We saw the big 5. The lodges and properties were lovely. The vehicles were excellent (land cruisers). The drivers and guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Pickups and drop offs were on time. And the tours were excellent. Very authentic and real experience. I fully recommend African Queen Adventures.

African Queen..was such a pleasure doing this trip with you guys. Words can't explain how this agency Africa Queen makes you feel the moment they greet you at the airport. Everything is well organized, their staff treat you like family, the communication, the excursions, food and hotel accommodations is by far superb. African Queen was such an excellently operated tour. From the moment I landed in Doha, which was where I had a connecting flight to Arusha Alice Manupa, the owner of African Queen Tours was available to respond to any inquiries I may have had although it was late night. Once my friend and I arrived she welcomed us with so much love and grace. I felt instantly at home. She went above and beyond the entire time and had a great & knowledgeable caring crew to back her up. Our adventures were very fun and packed with amazing non forgettable breathtaking moments. First we went to the Cultural Center. Then we drove through Tarangire National Park. We got to see every single animal in the Serengeti. We decided to go Hot Air Ballooning through the Serengeti which was just spectacular. We went to Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi & had a few cultural experiences with the Hadzabe tribe and then a wonderful tour of the Blacksmiths. We've now arrived at the beautiful beach in Zanzibar and cannot wait to just soak it all in. A must do experience!!

We had a great one week jeep safari in Tanzania with our family of 6 organized by African Queen. The owner, Alice, was very responsive and made sure to get us the best experience. Our driver and guide Philip was a very experienced and fun guy and we felt very comfortable with him. He shared a lot of knowledge, always got us in the best position to spot wildlife and provided a fast but safe drive that never made any of us feel sick or uncomfortable. Taking into account that you spend between 6 and 12 hours in the car together on a daily basis, we felt lucky to have Philip drive us around. He told us there are perhaps as much as 6,000 safari tour operators in Tanzania, so it is a very competitive market. We were happy for the choice we made with the more boutique style approach of African Queen that offers a personalized experience. The recommendation for African Queen was made by the owner of Moivaro lodges and tented camps who provided for the unique accommodations during our trip. A very special and memorable vacation!

We traveled to Tanzania for a wedding and decided to check out African queen adventures. Adventures is an understatement! We had an amazing time at the safari with excellent accommodations at various hotels. The safari experience was extraordinary and we were able to see the big 5 animals. Ino our tour guide was amazing in his detailed description of the lay of the land and each animal we saw. We were always served a hot meal with beverages and they always took rest stops without us even needing to request one. Highly recommend him and taking this safari excursions many times again!

This 4-day safari across the Ngorongoro and Serengeti regions was a major highlight of my time in Tanzania. The details were well organized and professionally executed. African Queen went over and above for our group. The lodging options were all clean and well chosen. The sunset view from our room in Serengeti was simply spectacular. We loved our tour guides- they were interactive and made the trip so much more fun! They taught us a lot about not only the animals but also the history and culture of the region. Our guide, Roger, was intentional about showing us as many animals as possible, especially the ones we told him we were personally excited to see. Not to mention teaching us a little Swahili here and there along the way. The staff was always attentive, patient and welcoming. I traveled with a group of 14 and they willingly made various additional accommodations to ensure our experience went smoothly. So, you'll be in good hands. If you're considering a safari during your time in Tanzania and looking for a budget-friendly option that doesn't sacrifice quality, I highly recommend booking through African Queen!

I had no clue what to expect when agreeing to go to this safari, but thanks to the African Queen's coordination I had an amazing time! The tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable! They made sure we were able to see so many beautiful animals while operating safely. I learned so much and quite frankly felt like I was on the scene of a National Geographic filming! The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and added to the safari experience immensely! Oh and food… let's just say they fed us so well I gained four pounds!

I didn't know what to expect going into this safari, as I was going with a large group. Much to my relief, the experience with African Queen met, or even exceeded, my expectations. The drivers picked us up at our designated spot at the airport, helped us with our luggage all throughout the trip, and were very accommodating of our requests while on safari. I was amazed to see thousands of animals along the trip, many of which we saw up close (within the safety of the vehicle). My most memorable moments were the lions and seeing a group of cheetahs playing with each other. The lodging exceeded my expectations. One lodge where we stayed was literally in the middle of the Serengeti. I woke up to see hundreds of zebras roaming in my backyard! I thought that my driver John was particularly accommodating of our requests and had nothing but great vibes throughout the 3.5 days journey. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent safari experience with a limited budget.

Very difficult to say what is the best part of the tour because everything was excellent, for us the first time in Arusha so impressed with the service of African Queen Tour, start from Alice organized tour for us suitable for our preferred, Michael our guide and driver he was so nice and informative as Encyclopedia of Tanzania. Our trip was our life time experience and so impressive.

This trip was amazing! Our tour guides were super knowledgeable and we saw 4/5 of the big 5! Unfortunately we didn't see the rhino. The accommodations were clean and beautiful. Glamping in Serengeti was my favorite accommodation. The food was excellent as well, and our picnics during the safari were great (rice with chicken and vegetable, fruit, etc.). I will definitely be using African Queen Adventures again, and requesting Innocent, Rodger, and John for future trips! Thank you for making this such a memorable excursion!

Had an amazing time on safari in Aug 2022 with a group of friends. Everything was well organized and reasonably priced considering the experience! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was great in making sure we spotted the wildlife at each park while providing detailed background of the related history and facts. The lodging and stay at each park was great as well and the service provided was phenomenal. Would recommend anyone including families to choose for their safari adventure!

African Queen was absolutely amazing every step of the way! Highly recommend We took a 4 day safari trip across the ngorongoro and Serengeti region. It was full of wonders, the wildlife sightings impressed us throughout. Our driver, Jon, was extremely cordial and went out of his way to ensure we got the best sightings. Accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. Best safari experience I've had all around :)

We spent 4 days with Emanuel from African Queen during our stay in Tanzania, he was our safari guide in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. From the first moment to the very last, he did everything - and beyond - he possibly can to make our experience better. He loves being a safari guide, loves animals, and provided a huge added value besides just driving us around in the national park. It was our first safari, but certainly not the last. I went with the group Promise of Africa group and they used African Queen Adventures and they were excellent. They have connections with the local government and so we went through customs easily without any fuss. We had local dancers meeting us at the airport. Everything went well. They are very organized and professional. I would highly recommend them.

This was my first time in Tanzania and Alice and her team at African Queen showed us the best of the country! Everything was top notch-from the accommodations to the tours to the transportation. Excellent planning and execution of an 8 day trip with a large group. From Dar Es Salaam to the Serengeti to Zanzibar it was a great adventure. Accommodations were excellent and our guides & drivers were great. Highly recommend & will use them again when I come back because there is so much more to see in Tanzania and the country & people are so welcoming.

Just spent 5 days with African Queen Adventures. Travelled from the United States with a total party of 56 people as part of the Promise of Mother Africa group. African Queen took amazing care of us. We took a day trip to Mount Kilimanjaro from Arusha which included hiking. The next day we headed to Ngorongoro Crater where we saw wildlife. Our tour guide Wasari was incredibly informative and accommodating. He also had a good eye for spotting animals and making sure we had plenty of time to see them. We then headed to Serengeti National Park for the next couple of days. African Queen Adventures was very responsive even when we had changes in itinerary. For example, after getting up at 4 am to do a sunrise balloon Safari over the Serengeti, some of us wanted to head back to the lodge instead of the planned tour. African Queen provided the necessary drivers and vehicles so that those who wanted to go back to the lodge could while others could go do the planned tour. Chilled water was provided daily and we had a wonderful picnic lunch at Ngorongoro Crater while watching the animals. The tour also got all 56 of us back to the Arusha airport on time for our flight to Zanzibar. I highly recommend this tour operator. You will not be disappointed.

We did Tarangire, Serengeti, and Manyara Lake National Parks in 6 days! The experience was superb and our travel guide was exceptionally good. Accommodations and staff were also highly recommendable. Thank you African Queen Adventures for an experience we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Africa, Tanzania in particular is truly unique in every way. Our travel guide Ezekiel is a highly experienced guide and did his best to our benefit to have top of the rank experience. Job well done all!

We had a week Safari tour organized by African Queen. We started our trip from 9th of July and all went well smoothly. Our tour guide Ezekiel always tried find things we are interested. He is such an experienced guide plus good communicator and the best driver. He knew very well what his clients want to see in Safari and made sure to find things for his client. All accommodation and food arranged during the trip were superb. Our car broke down once but Ezekiel knows how to fix it. It took only half an hour and we were back on the road. This is the absolute worst travel company. Our car broke down thrice and we were stranded in the jungle for 4 hours till 11 pm. And our driver also didnt know the address of most of our hotels. please never ever take this sorry excuse for a travel company and you can avoid the pain me and my 60 year old parents endured over last 3 days.

We went on a 19-day trip to Tanzania. We chose a tour operator called African Queen Adventure. We started our tour from Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania, and the driver was already there to pick us up and we were able to start our trip without any problems. The car was a large safari vehicle, and we were able to load our large luggage with plenty of room to spare. There was also a refrigerator in the car so we could drink cold water anytime we wanted. The meals, including lunch, were delicious enough because they listened to our intentions in advance. We took the northern circuit. Visited Arusha NP, Tarangire NP, Serengeti and Mkomaji NP. And they were able to provide us with accommodations that met our needs. The communication via email with the person who planned our itinerary was smooth, and he was very flexible to accommodate any changes in our itinerary. He also gave us advice. It was an enjoyable and unforgettable trip.

We had an amazing safari because of our highly experienced and knowledgeable guide Ezekiel, who knew exactly where to find the wildlife we wanted to see such as cheetahs, serval cats, migrating wildebeest. Yes we checked off the big five, but even more importantly, Ezekiel spotted all kinds of wildlife (eg saddle billed stork) and was knowledgeable about their behavior. We have great photos and memories of all kinds of African wildlife! Highly recommend Ezekiel!

Excellent experience I would highly recommend African Queen. We especially liked our guide, Ezekiel, and would highly suggest requesting him. Unlike some of the other rookie guides Ezekiel has over a decade of experience and serves as one of leaders for one of the large safari guide associations… incredible how many other guides he knew which came with perks because they would communicate to find the best sights for us. We were able to see the big 5 in the first 2 days, which I attribute to having an experienced guide. Also, Ezekiel had excellent English, if you're coming from the U.S or are an English speaker seeking the highest quality safari experience African Queen/Ezekiel will not disappoint.

What an exciting adventure was those 5 days what we (my wife and I) had spent in Tanzania while we visited Serengeti national park (for 2 days), and then some different tribes during that time also visited Ngorongoro crater and others. The last safari day was in Tarangire national park, which has a total different natural environment, and landscapes so many many elephants ;) Only 1.5 day we managed to see the BIG5 thanks for Philipe who was the greatest guide. He is actually highlighted and recommended for a best journey! He knows everything about the African nature and honestly I had a countless questions but he was able to respond all of them (e.g. why 2 zebras are standing very close and opposite side to each other? Asked him) Thanks the trip and the extraordinary experiences.

The best safari we could have asked for! Our tour guide Philip was very professional and did not disappoint in showing us the true safari experience, in just 2 days we had seen the big 5 and much more! Overall an amazing experience, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see wildlife close up in all of its beauty.

Hello, I wanted to thank you for an amazing trip to the safari in Tanzania with our lovely driver Vasily. We came to Tanzania on 22.2.2022. Tanzania is magical and special, the visit to the safari exposed us to the animals up close, savannah, views and spectacular wildlife. The trip was very successful, excellent service and the drivers keeping on schedule. The jeeps were clean, well maintained and gave excellent service to provide a perfect experience. There was excellent communication between the other jeep drivers. And of course, we got the perfect driver who accompanied us throughout the days in Tanzania. Vasily was always with a lot of patience, making sure we were satisfied. It didn't bother him when the children were noisy in the jeep, he was very nice and patient. He didn't press us and stay as many as we asked in some places, according to what we liked along the way. We really enjoyed chatting and getting to know him in person. A special man, with a high level of English and extensive knowledge. We meet intelligent person, he knew the answer for any question that we asked. There is no doubt that the special experience was also due to him. We won the amazing driver who was part of this special experience in Tanzania. Thank you very much for all.

We really enjoyed the whole trip from the beginning till the end. Our guide, Philip was perfect, he tried everything to do us happy and it happened. We had a 3 day safari with Philip, our guide. We spent 2 days in Serengeti and one day in Ngorongoro. It was amazing. He showed us the big 5 and much more. Every 3 minutes we saw something interesting. Our guide was really kind and told us many interesting infos. As he is a ranger he could show us more than an average guide. We recommend it 100%. We are couple from Ukraine and had safari for 5 days. Our guide was Philipe - very friendly, easygoing and well prepared & educated guy. He has a lot information about flora and fauna of Tanzania. Due to that and intensive communications with other guides he was able to find a lot of creatures both big and small so for money which we paid we received a lot of fun and impressions!

We spent 4 DAYS Safari with this agency. Our guide, Fadhili was great. They arranged all for us including the flights from Zanzibar and the accommodation also. We had a lot of offers but they gave us the best price but also quality. So, If you want good price, quality and Happy faces you can choose AFRICAN QUEEN ADVENTURES and ask for Fadhili.

We had 5 day safari (4 sleep overs). It was a great experience. Especially the migration of the animals was one of the highlights of the trip. We saw so many animals. Our guides were well informed, we asked a lot of questions and they could explain us everything. They were so nice and friendly and because of them we had the perfect safari. We were traveling with kids and the kids as well enjoyed every day of the safari. We can absolutely recommend African Queen Adventures. We had only a short time in Tanzania and African Queen Adventures managed to organize us an amazing two-day safari adventure! The logistics with our flights to/from Zanzibar, as well as our meals and overnight stay were all arranged went very smoothly.
